The results are in! Thank you SO much to everyone who voted in this poll. I really appreciate your feedback and participation. We had 83 total votes this time which beats our previous poll high of 77 total votes! Woohoo! You are all so very awesome.
As the summer is quickly winding down, it looks like the clear majority of you would like me to start my end of summer eating frenzy with some fish tacos. Good choice. I’ve been craving some good fish tacos for so long and waiting for this poll to end has only made me want them more.
As for the other items from My Summer List, Peach Cobbler came in at a solid second with 27% of the votes. Dustin thanks you all for this. He is very excited. After Peach Cobbler, there was Crab Cakes, followed by Sangria and, lastly, Mint Chip Ice Cream. I am going to try to make all these for you guys in the order they were voted. And, hopefully, before summer ends! Stay tuned!
By the way, have you noticed some recent changes to my blog layout? In addition to editing a few Categories, I changed my motto (at the top of the page) from “The making of a personal chef” to “live. love. eat.” I have been re-evaluating my blog lately in order to maintain a good focus and not be all over the place like I usually am. If you’ve been with me from the beginning, you know I created this blog to coincide with the start of my personal chef business in San Diego, called Sweet Pea Chef. My original thinking was to discuss the goings on with my business as well as recipes in my blog posts, though I really haven’t done this very much, have I? As this site has grown and developed, it is clear my focus is more on enjoying life, eating good, simple food and sharing wonderful family memories with you all. Hence, “live. love. eat.” was born. What do you think? **fingers crossed you like it**
As always, I want to thank you for reading. I welcome your comments, questions, recipe suggestions and food stories. Here’s to doing what you love!
