Sorry for two posts in a row that aren’t recipes. Dustin and I are currently in Arkansas after a family emergency involving Dustin’s dad. Things should hopefully be back to “normal” starting next week. Thank you to everyone for your well wishes and prayers. In the meantime, please enjoy this post about Jordan.

So, after all the hassle to find Jordan a Halloween costume, she was too sick Halloween to even get dressed up. Poor thing had a fever and was not a happy camper.

Halloween 2010

Since Dustin and I worked so hard to get her a costume, however, we decided to have a belated Halloween costume party.  Translation: another Jordan photo shoot. Yay!

Potential Problem #1 safely averted: the costume fit.

Potential Problem #2 safely averted: Jordan loved it.

Jordan pranced around the house for about an hour wearing her costume…taking her witch hat on and off, inspecting the materials and being her cute little self. Because that’s what she does.  Unfortunately, the photos didn’t come out as well as I would have liked, but it was fun nonetheless.

Halloween 2010

(For those of you who start to gag a bit when parents show off their kids, I truly apologize. It’s an involuntary behavior.  I mean, how can you not share as a parent, right?…with such a cute kid. Heehee.)

I hope you all are having an absolutely wonderful weekend.

Enjoy!
