Home, at Last!

We FINALLY closed escrow on our new home!!!!

Just two whole months after originally scheduled, but who’s counting?

I just wanted to check in with you guys and let you know I haven’t forgotten about you.  We are just up to our ears in boxes and, with a little Savannah who has recently learned to crawl, we definitely have our hands full at the moment.  Yikes.

So far, I’ve unpacked the kitchen…mostly.

As for the rest of the house….um….ugh….not so much.

We are extremely excited to finally be in our own home and look forward to lots of wonderful memories in the years to come.

As soon as we conquer the inundation of boxes from the move, I’ll be sure to post a tasty new recipe and share more photos of the house.

Take care!

I’m so relieved and happy for you that you are at last in your new home. What a wonderful back garden for two girls to safely crawl and run around in, and for their dear folks to plan putting in herb and veggie garden beds some time in the future.

Sending huggles and big smiles for you all from Wellington, New Zealand,

I can see Gardening here, even if only for herbs. Call it Landscaping, if that helps. (Most herbs don’t need “nursing” much…compared to veggies).

Welcome home! What a great feeling. Stumbled on your blog and have enjoyed a handful of your posts. Started losing weight with Medifast and can use some of your recipes for “lean and green” meals-yay! Also, we are in the New Braunfels area and LOVE Texas winters!
