Hello there!
So…do you all know how wonderfully awesome you are?
Ever since I started this blog, I have received support from many of you. People have shared their interests in food with me, their hopes and dreams to pursue their own passions and their gratitude for the recipes, stories and inspiration I provide here. In fact, it is not an uncommon event for me to go running up to Dustin, giddy with delight, to read him a nice comment or email I’ve received. It just doesn’t get old!
Over the past week, I have received such positive support for my blog, my business, my newsletter and the release of my cookbook. I can’t even stand it. You are all so incredibly sweet and, well, just perfect!
I guess what I’m trying to say is: Thank You. This blog has become a very special entity in my life and I’m so glad there are people to share this with.
Speaking of sharing…if you recall, I am working on getting an A Sweet Pea Chef apron together to give away to some lucky readers. I’ve had some “issues” with the design and overall quality of some of the products I’ve sampled, which has delayed the process. But, I’m hoping to receive the apron later this week. My plan is to hold some giveaways in the near future to give out the apron. I am also considering rewarding my all-time top commenter(s) with a free apron as well as — gasp — my 1000th commenter. Forgive me, I’m still so shocked I’ve had so many comments on the blog that we are nearing the 1000th overall comment. So. Cool! Please stay tuned for more!

I’m so happy for you! You are one of the first websites I check each day. Your recipes are so good, uncomplicated, and delicious! My family (Myself, husband, 6 year old, 4 year old, and 3 year old) will be feasting on leftover Chicken and Dumplings tonight. It was wonderful and all three kids finished every last drop from their bowls last night! Keep up the great work!

Great receipe for chicken and dumplings…I modified it somewhat : ) . I used thyme as suggested plus sage, and added two heaping table spoons of sour cream, also instead of dumplings I used Russian chicken pelmeni…which is like a dumpling with chicken inside (ravioli)… any it was great.
