I wanted to share a couple changes I’ve made to the blog recently. I think you’re gonna like them!
One of the things I get asked a lot is if there’s an easy way to print off my recipes. For a long time, that answer was, “Um…not really.”
But, now, my answer is “YES, there is!”
Going forward, my recipes will be nicely formatted and easy to print off. They will even have a neat little thumbnail image of the recipe you’re printing. I’m pretty excited about it.
Another cool feature for my recipes is that, now, you can actually rate them. All you have to do is leave a comment on a post and there’s an option to choose a rating (from 1 to 5 stars), like this:
Then, if you leave a rating, it will show up like this on the site:
How cool is that?
All new posts will have this awesome recipe format. My plan is to go through all my posts so the older recipes will be easier to print and will also have the rating option. For starters, I just updated my Pan-Roasted Salmon post from way back in 2010. I also re-did the photos on that page to make it look better — I hope you like them. It’s funny how you can think a photo is great at one time and then, 4 years later, think it’s awful. Ah well — such is life.
If you’ve tried one of my recipes, I’d love it if you could provide your rating. That will help let me know what recipes people like and what ones might need some improving.
Anyways, please let me know what you think of the new recipe format and, while you’re at it, go ahead and leave some ratings, too! 🙂
