Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice about 1/2 lime
  • 1/4 small red onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 medium vine-ripened tomatoes finely diced
  • 1/2 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, gently mash the avocados to desired consistency using the back of a fork.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and lightly stir to combine. Season with any additional salt or lime juice to taste.
  3. Refrigerate, covered with saran wrap, for one hour.
