Avocado Hummus

  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas
  • 2 medium ripe avocados
  • 3 tbsp olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • crushed red pepper flakes, optional garnish


  1. Add all ingredients (minus garnish) to food processor.

  2. Blend for one minute or so until it’s smooth.

  3. Garnish this avocado hummus with crushed red pepper flakes and chickpeas and a drizzle of olive oil.
