9-Ingredient Blender Chocolate Muffins

Made with just 9 simple ingredients, these chocolate banana muffins have double chocolatey yummines AND they are free of refined sugar, oil, and flour!   • 5 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tbsp dark cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut oil, for greasing muffin tin (could also use cupcake liners)
  • 1 cup 70% cacao dark chocolate morsels, plus more for topping


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease muffin tin with coconut oil.

  2. In a blender, add all the ingredients except for the dark chocolate morsels and almond flour.

  3. Add the almond flour to a mixing bowl, and then pour in the chocolate blender mixture, and stir to combine.

  4. Add the chocolate morsels and stir to combine.

  5. Pour the mix into the prepared muffin pan, approximately 2/3 of the way full. I use a 1 1/2 tbsp cookie scoop to transfer equal amounts into each muffin tin.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and tops are golden brown.
  7. Remove and let cool on cooling rack.
