4-5mint tea bagsyou can use black tea if you prefer
1 ½cupssugar
1bunch mint leavesabout 4-5 sprigs, whole on stem
¼lemonsliced with peel plus more for garnish
Instructions
Bring 1 qt. water to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags. Allow tea to steep for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Add mint leaves and lemon slices and allow to sit for 10 more minutes.
Remove tea bags, mint and lemon from the pot. Add 2 ½ to 3 quarts water (depending on your tastes and level of sweetness preferred) and stir to combine. Serve over ice with a quick twist of fresh lemon juice. Garnish with lemon slice or fresh mint leaves.
