Happy (early) Halloween, everyone! I hope you all have a safe and fun time. If you're like Dustin and me, you are happy to see the little trick-or-treaters at your door because it means you can finally get rid of all the candy you bought way too early and, because of this, have slowly pecked away at over the past two weeks. Ugh. Really? Every year.
Last Halloween, Jordan was only about six months old and her zealously naive parents bought her a ladybug costume (because it was sooo cute, of course) two months early because they wanted to make sure she was a ladybug.
Fast forward to this Halloween. Jordan's parents are much more experienced and remember how their poor little daughter got shoved like a sausage into a way-too-small ladybug costume because she had already outgrown it by the time Halloween had come around. So, to avoid this trauma, Jordan's parents waited until just 2 weeks before Halloween to buy her a costume.
Well, turns out 2 weeks before Halloween will find you slim pickings for your 18-month old.
So, what does Jordan get to be this Halloween, ladies and gentlemen? What will our sweet, fun-loving, precious little girl be?
A witch. Yep, that's right. That's what little girls whose parents wait until the last minute get to be for Halloween. A. Little. Witch.
Truth be told, she'll look adorable anyway and she absolutely loves playing with her little witch hat. Nonetheless, we have definitely learned our lesson for Halloween. Well...this lesson...for now...that is. Next year: mail order costumes!
Have a great weekend and Halloween, everyone! Thought I'd share some pics of Jordan at the pumpkin patch this year. Jordan had a blast picking out her little pumpkin, or, as she likes to call it, her "pumb-paa."
Trick or Treat and Enjoy!

I love these pics they came out so good. It will funny when she gets to pick out her own costume. Then we will be in for real trouble running around everywhere trying to find it.
